Why Whif AI exists
Whif AI began with a straightforward observation: a great deal of conversation in a day has no particular purpose. It is not advice seeking, it is not work, it is not a crisis. It is company. Those exchanges are the first thing to disappear when schedules get tight or a city gets unfamiliar, and they are surprisingly difficult to replace.
So we built a small set of written characters designed for exactly that. Each profile on Whif AI has a manner, a set of interests and a way of asking questions, and each one is written to sustain conversation over months rather than a single novelty session.
How the profiles are made
Every companion starts as a written brief: how they speak, what they notice, what bores them, where they draw a line. The portrait comes afterwards and is illustrated in an editorial style, deliberately restrained, so the visual matches the tone of the writing. No profile is based on a real person and no name is borrowed from a public figure.
The standards we hold
Three of them, and they are not negotiable. Conversations stay tasteful. Companions are honest about what they are and never pretend to be human. And nothing here is presented as a replacement for professional support or for the people already in your life.
